What is your class standing and major?

I am an upper junior in Stern College for Women. I am a Media Studies major and a Studio Art minor focusing on photography.

Where are you from?

I am from Miami, Florida.

Which seminary did you go to and what was your favorite thing about it?

I went to HaRova for my gap year. I loved living in the Old City of Jerusalem, it was truly magical. I met so many interesting people and had experiences one could only get in the Old City, like watching five year old children walk a goat on a leash.

What do you want to do after college?

I’d love to work for a magazine, either as a photographer or writer or both! I will always be a photographer whether on my own or under a company.

Why did you decide to join the YU Observer?

I love writing, and always have. I am always looking for ways to physically encapsulate emotion in any art form, and although with writing it could be difficult, it can also be so rewarding.

What is your favorite article that you have written?

My favorite piece is the one I wrote on The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women. I got to speak with the playwright as well as with so many amazing faculty members about the show and their thoughts.

Why should someone join the YU Observer?

It’s a space to learn, grow, and have your words heard!

What is your favorite and least favorite thing about living in New York?

The weather in New York is not Miami girl friendly, and the local subway pets are pretty gross. Though I do love the endless amounts of things to do and the diversity of Jews.

What is your go-to Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts order?

Dunkin’s would be an iced unsweetened vanilla latte with skim milk and sweetener. Starbucks is a white chocolate mocha always.
