What year are you in YU? Sophomore.
What school are you in? Sy Syms School of Business.
Where did you go to high school and yeshiva? Maimonides School and Yeshivat HaKotel.
What is your major? Undecided, but leaning towards Finance or Accounting.
What do you want to do after college? After college, I plan on going into equity research. This is the process of analyzing financial securities, primarily stocks, and then giving insights and recommendations to investors regarding a certain stock’s potential for profit or risk.
What is your favorite section to write for? So far, I’ve only written one article, so I don’t have a favorite section yet. However, I look forward to writing more articles in the future on business or sports!
Why did you decide to join the YU Observer? In high school, I was the editor-in-chief of our newspaper called Spectrum. I loved to write, so when I got an email that there was an opportunity to write more at YU, I applied right away.
What is your favorite article that you have written? I wrote one article about the experiences of freshmen in their transition to YU. I really liked talking to the freshman and getting different perspectives. It was a really great start to my career at the YU Observer.
Why should someone join the YU Observer? If you enjoy writing and you want to get your voice out there, the YU Observer is the place to be. The editors are easy-going and flexible. They will work with you so that you get the most interesting topic out there. You’ll meet new people and improve your writing skills.
What is your favorite pie flavor? Just a regular pizza with caramelized onions.
If you had to have strawberry ice cream, would you want it with chunks of strawberries or without? I would not want chunks of strawberry in my strawberry ice cream.
