Congratulations to our winners and great job to all of you who ran for office!  Here’s a glimpse at what the Presidents Elect of the various councils have planned for next year:

I plan to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment, so that every student can feel like Stern is their home and become a part of the Stern community. That being said, I also want to create a more united community by establishing a more active Shabbat life on campus.

– Chana Posluns, SCWSC

I want to unite, empower, and inspire the Stern student body.  I consider a great leader to be someone who creates leaders and therefore I want to listen to the voices of Stern and make new programming happen.

– Sarah Alt, TAC

As your president I will devote my time to planning events to make our business school stand out.  My plan for the upcoming year is to empower the students.  I want more students from Sy Syms to be involved in organizing and planning student events.

– Yaffa Jarashow, SYMSSC

My goal is to get everyone in the school involved.  I want to find out what types of events students want and make those happen, rather than events that always appeal to the same group of students.

– Irit Greenboim, Senior Class Board

As president I want to make sure that all voices can be heard and that the junior class can become a more cohesive and fun grade!

– Rita Gordon, Junior Class Board

One of the biggest advantages of going to a relatively small school is the relatively small population.  As president I will strive to plan interactive events that’ll really unite our grade and have everyone feel like they truly know each other.

– Michal Adler, Sophomore Class Board
